At the helm of FPA is Dr. Catherine Hardee, Owner and CEO, who holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Florida State University. With a deep commitment to mental health, Dr. Hardee brings years of clinical expertise and visionary leadership to FPA. She leads the organization with a focus on empowering both clients and staff through innovative mental health care and a compassionate approach. Her dedication to fostering a supportive environment and advancing mental health services makes her an integral part of the FPA mission.

Melanie Dempsey - Director of Operations, Billing and Authorization Specialist
Born and raised in Nassau County, Florida, Melanie grew up showing horses in western pleasure and barrel racing. Melanie has an extensive background in working with children. She worked as a director at a local childcare center and has experience working with children ranging from newborns to 12 years old. After 10 years of working in childcare, Melanie decided to make a career change. Melanie has worked for FPA for nearly 8 years and is proficient in behavioral health billing, insurance verification, insurance authorizations, as well as patient accounts.
Vanessa Molinaro - Billing/Medical Records Associate

Fernandina Beach, FL
Vanessa grew up in New Jersey and has recently relocated to Nassau County. She began her career as a dental assistant in 2003 and then joined the Navy to serve her country as a Master-at-Arms. She had traveled the globe during her enlistment and found that somewhere near the beach is where she belonged. Afterwards, she continued to volunteer as an OMBUDSMAN for Navy spouses and families. Vanessa later graduated with her Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration from Strayer University and is looking to obtain her Master’s in Arts in the near future.
